| Since opening in 1969, "The Market Place" in Rock Sound has become the largest commercial shopping center on the island of Eleuthera. At the center of The Market Place is it's well-stocked market, carrying most items you would find in any major stateside supermarket or grocery store.
Located in Rock Sound, just south of Govenours Harbour, The Market is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Market is closed on Sunday, if you are arriving late on Saturday, or on Sunday, you can take advantage of our convenient Provision Service.
